A revelation is a figure of speech applied to a word which is used to discribe an object or action which is not literally appropiate. The revelation trope appears over and over again in a story, movie, song, or any context. An example of a revelation trope could be The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.
-How does the revelation trope work?
The elements of a revelation trope are the prophet, who is the reveler, a leader, or an activist. The oppresser and the dumb/ignorant masses (silent majority). Obsticles to the revelation, the message, and the promise redemtion.
